Class & Skill Changes

To enhance your playing experience we've rebalanced the classes so that they are all fun and viable in both bossing and general grinding. The changes below are the current state of our game and we will continue balancing throughout Beta. If you have more suggestions for class balance, feel free to let us know in our Discord!

Planned Changes

These are subject to change

Next to the currently implemented changes further below we also have some planned changes to improve on the current class balance in the game. These are in no particular order and subject to change. Let us know in Discord what you would like to see!

The planned changes are as follows: 

  • Buff ALL summons to make them more  relevant
  • Buff holy arrow and fire arrow and let them hit 3 monsters
  • Buff angel ray to hit 3 monsters
  • Don't let Dark Knight summon heal past Berserk Threshold
  • Reduce resurrect cooldown
  • Increase heal dmg
  • Allow walking during hurricane
  • Add back some utility to Hero
  • Add some utility to Corsair
  • Rebalance some of the weapon multipliers for Warriors

Class Changes

Thief
  • Can use potions while in Dark Sight/Wind Walker

Shadower:

  • Assaulter can be cast without a target
  • Assassinate doesn't require Dark Sight
  • Assassinate charge while in Dark Sight has been removed
  • Boomerang step damage has been increased
  • Assassinate can also critSavage Blow has increased damage

Night Lord:

  • Removed "whacking" when standing too close to the monster
Magician

All magicians have a 15 second cooldown on their full map attacks (Genesis, Blizzard, Meteor Shower). This is to prevent them becoming farming/leeching mules. We have the following vision for mages:

Bishop - Utility focused, with a little bit of damage as well, but not as strong as the other mages.

Ice Lightning mage - The mobbing mage, with high multi-target DPS and lower single-target

Fire Poison mage - The 1v1 DPS mage, with less mobbing ability.

Ice Lightning:

  • Blizzard has doubled damage to offset the cooldown
  • Chain lightning hits 8 monsters at max level
  • Chain lightning damage increased
  • Chain lightning bounce range increased
  • Thunder Spear damage increased

Fire Poison:

  • Meteor Shower has doubled damage to offset the cooldown
  • Fire Demon hits 6 monsters
  • Paralyze damage has been increased

Bishop:

  • Genesis has doubled damage to offset the cooldown
  • Holy shield cannot be dispelled
  • Big bang damage increased
  • Angel Ray damage increased
Pirate

Buccanneer:

  • Increased Demolition animation speed
  • Increased Demolition damage
  • Increased Barrage damage
  • Reduced Demolition delay in between skill casts
  • Increased Shockwave animation speed
  • Increased Energy Charge rate
  • Corkscrew Blow charge has been removed
  • Corkscrew Blow hits 6 monsters
  • (Super) Transformation can't be dispelled

Corsair:

  • Battleship HP increased
  • Battleship can't be dispelled
  • Reduced Battleship cooldown
  • Invisible shot hits 4 monsters
  • Invisible shot damage increased
  • Increased Burst Fire damage
Archer

Marksman:

  • Removed the charge from Piercing Arrow
  • Increased damage cap for higher Snipe damage
  • Removed "whacking" when standing too close to the monster

Bowmaster:

  • Removed "whacking" when standing too close to the monster
Warrior

Paladin:

  • Blast has increased damage
  • BW boosters have increased damage
  • Magic Crash is now full "Crash" and cancels both MA and Warriors

Dark Knight:

  • Berserk HP threshold has been increased to 65%
  • Added a short cooldown to Dragon Roar

Hero:

  • Removed "Armor Crash"

Aran:

  • Increased combo uptime
